Overview:
Aston Martin unveiled the V12 Vantage Roadster at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. Aston for the first time has fitted the Vantage Roadster with the V12 powerhouse. Being an exclusive built, the V12 Roadster is limited to just 249 units, and yes you guessed it right, all of them are sold out.

Exterior and looks:
The V12 Vantage Roadster looks can make anyone drool over it. The car looks aggressive and elegant at the same time. Thanks to the reshaped grille which is 25% larger than the standard Vantage. The front bumper, clamshell bonnet, front fenders and side sills are made entirely of carbon fiber.

The rear bumper and boot lid are made out of weight-saving composite material. The V12 Vantage Roadster is now fitted with a widetrack suspension that makes the car wider by 40mm. Additional saving in weight has been done with the adoption of a center-mounted twin-exit exhaust system. The exhaust is fabricated from special 1mm lightweight stainless steel.

Performance:
The heart of the matter in the V12 Vantage Roadster is a 5.2-liter V12 twin-turbocharged quad-cam petrol engine. The V12 churns out 700 bhp of power at 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 753 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The car accelerates from 0-100 in 3.5 seconds and can attain a top speed of 320 km/h.
Transmission duties are handled by a ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic gearbox. There’s also a rear-mounted mechanical Limited-Slip Differential (LSD). The V12 Vantage Roadster comes fitted with Carbon Ceramic Brakes as standard. Front discs are gripped by 6-piston calipers whereas the rear discs get 4-piston calipers.

Being an Aston Martin the V12 Vantage Roadster comes with a host of interior and exterior customization options. You can commission your V12 Vantage Roadster with more than 15+ liveries/graphics options. The car can be had with Carbon Fibre Performance Seats. Seat ventilation can be had as an option.

The V12 Vantage Roadster is a limited-run model and only 249 examples will be produced. All of which are sold out. As of now there is no word on the pricing but is expected to be priced at a greater premium than the V12 Vantage coupe.
