Overview:
After the grand success of the Urus super SUV, Lamborghini has brought in a more extreme, more performance-oriented version of the Urus, The Urus Performante. Recently we saw the Urus Performante climb the Pike Peak summit in a record time of 10:32.064, beating the previous record of the Bentley Bentayga (10:49.902).
The Lamborghini Urus Performante raises the bar set by the Urus in terms of power, handling, and sportiness. The new super-SUV has shed 47kgs over the standard Urus. Exterior upgrades include newly designed front and rear bumpers, a carbon fiber bonnet, and a new rear wing that increases the downforce by 38%.
Engine and Performance:
The 2023 Urus Performante gets the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which is tuned to produce a whopping 666 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque. The Performante can make a 0-100 sprint in 3.3 seconds, whereas 0-200 km/h takes just 11.5 seconds. Speaking of top speed the Urus Performante can do 306 km/h.
The super SUV has lost 47 kgs over the standard Urus and gained 16 bhp, which gives it a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 3.2. In terms of braking, the Performante gets front and rear carbon ceramic brakes, with the front getting 10 piston brake calipers. Capable of bringing the car from 100-standstill in 32.9m.

Exterior:
The Urus Performante gets newly designed front and rear bumpers, a new carbon fiber splitter, and a carbon fiber bonnet. The rear spoiler is improved taking inspiration from the Aventador SVJ, which increases the downforce by 38%. Carbon fiber roof and visible carbon fiber bits can be had as an option.
The Performante now gets new coil springs which lower the car by 20mm over the standard Urus. Also, the wheel track is now broader by 16 millimeters which give the SUV a lowered chunkier stance. The Urus Performante gets 22-inch forged alloy wheels with titanium bolts, 23-inchers can be had as an option. Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R performance tyres can be had as an option.

Pricing and Rivals:
The Lamborghini Urus Performante will be priced at Rs.50-60 lakh premium over the standard Urus. And will rival the likes of the Audi RS Q8, Bentley Bentayga Speed, Aston Martin DBX 707, and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.
