
Jaguar has revealed the 2021 facelifted F-Pace , the SUV has grown up to look more mature and sharp. The updates include the addition of plug-in hybrid powertrain an overhauled interior, and cosmetic changes to the exterior.
WHAT HAS CHANGED ON THE EXTERIOR ?
The exterior has grown to look more mature and sharp. The all-LED quad headlights with ‘Double J’ DRL’s are slimmer than the outgoing model. The diamond-mesh finish grille is now more bold while the front and rear bumpers are revamped. Other changes include a new bonnet that extends all the way to the grille and Jaguar leaper emblems on the vents on the front fenders.
The side profile remains the same, while at the rear we can see new taillights that feature Jaguar’s double chicane graphic, there is a new bumper and a revised tailgate too.
Customers have the option of R-Dynamic Package which will get them design elements for a more performance focused look. Also, optional on all models – S, SE and HSE – is the Black exterior pack.


What are the changes to the interior ?
The interior of the F-Pace has got a complete overhaul and is updated to the current technological requirements. There is a new 12.3-inch driver’s display, 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen in magnesium alloy casing for the Pivi Pro infotainment system, a new drive selector knob, repositioned electric window switches, new seats, among others.
Open-pore wood veneers and aluminium feature in upper door insert, there are other finishes available too, while full width “Piano lid” is present across the width of the instrument panel, along with laser-etched mid-line speaker frets.
Features offered on 2021 Jaguar F-Pace facelift include cabin air ionisation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Baidu CarLife, Pivi Pro connectivity through embedded dual-sim technology with two LTE modems, Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) capability, Segment-first Active Road Noise Cancellation, Activity Key, among others.



WHAT ARE THE POWERTRAIN OPTIONS ?
Engines options with the facelifted SUV include Jaguar’s latest 2.0-litre 4-cylinder and 3.0-litre inline-6 Ingenium petrol and diesel engines. Excluding the 2.0-litre petrol configuration and 3.0-litre turbo diesel, all powertrains come with electric assistance.
Most models are mild-hybrids, one – the P400e which has a combined output of 398 BHP and 640 Nm from a 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol and an electric motor powered by a 17.1 kWh Li-ion battery – is a plug-in hybrid. All powertrain options come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive as standard.
India launch of the 2021 Jaguar F-Pace will take place next year along with a slight price increase, but that will be justified by the added kit on offer with the car.
